Fresh Start QUIT Smoking
Fresh Start Quit Smoking Course
Presented by The Cancer Council ACT
We’re all aware that it’s getting harder and harder to smoke; not only because of the legal restrictions, but also because there’s no doubt any longer of the harmful effects on our health, and the health of our loved ones exposed to our smoking.
It’s much easier to quit, and stay quit, if you have the right information and support. At The Cancer Council, we don’t use lasers, promise you’ll quit after one session of 50 minutes, or sell you some other type of expensive snake oil! Those things won’t help, but will only frustrate you more.
What we do offer is a range of support options including face-to-face counselling, the Quitline on 137 848, and seminars and group courses for your workplace. All our programs are evidence based, and have been proven effective by research world wide.
