Course Description
-
This course is designed to equip you with basic skills of Indian cooking including vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian curries, rice dishes, breads, snacks, drinks, chutneys, raitas deserts and other complementary dishes.

The course outline is developed with a view to start with simple recipes using generic spices with progression of intense and authentic and usage of wide range of spices and herbs. Course contents (recipes) can be varied on attendee’s preferences, availability of food items and equipment or other health and safety issues.

Materials Required

All food and ingredients and recipes, and a list of Indian grocery stores in Canberra, will be provided with no additional cost to the course. Bring your own note book and pens to take any notes and to blog any important cooking tips. Please bring your own apron and a container for any leftover food to take home.

Suitable covered footwear is required.
