Due to popular demand Catherine, a practicing interior designer with12 years experience, has added Course 2 – More Dash than Cash to her long running course Interior Design For Everyone.
Course 2 builds on the knowledge gained in Course 1 and explores areas such as the development of individual style, bringing your garden and home together, further inspirations for colour schemes, some insider information, incorporating influences from other cultures into our homes and solutions to those personal interior problem areas that we all face.
So if you would like to explore more of your creative talents, if your home is in need of an update but designing a colour scheme still looks much too difficult. If the budget is non-existent and you need some fresh inspiration this course could be the answer.
Or if you simply want to get out, relax and learn about ways to make you home look and feel better with other like minded people then this is the course that will give you just that as well.

Lesson 1 – Your Style – further developing your personal style
Lesson 2 – Exterior - bringing your garden and home together
Lesson 3 – Black, White and Neutrals – the most widely used schemes of all
Lesson 4 – Colour schemes – nature as inspiration
Lesson 5 - Guest speaker – straight from the horses mouth
Lesson 6 – Projects – personal dilemmas and bedroom magic
Lesson 7 – Pattern & texture - carpet, fabric, laminate & wallpaper
Lesson 8 - Sample boards – inspirations from around the world
Materials List
- 2 – 3 old interior design magazines (to cut up)
- A3 size sketch pad
- glue
- scissors
- ruler
- pencil
- acrylic paint – blue, red, yellow, white, black
- palette or plate
- water container
- 1 # round water colour paint brush - size 8.
