Business: Vibrant Colours, operated by Doris and Ian Grant
Having lost our daughter to cancer, we felt that we should assist with fund raising for research to fight that disease. Cancer is devasting to the entire family and its circle of friends, especially when it strikes an apparently healthy person and when that person is relatively young. Our daughter was very artistic and loved colours, so we set up a business, naming it "Vibrant Colours". As of this date this business has raised over $52,000 for cancer research.
Other fund raising is at markets by making and selling jewellery. As well as selling gifit items, such as journals and hand made paper from India and Nepal, wooden boxes, book boxes and photograph frames.
We are also available to organise private jewellery classes for adults and children in schools, churches, private homes and birthday parties.
