Yoga & Pilates

Course Description
-
This course will teach the essentials of pilates to improve core strength and alignment.  Often muscle tightness prevents students from achieving form, therefore a range of yoga poses and stretches will be used to gain balance and stability.  Integrated movements will then be used to enhance overall strength, whilst teaching mind-body relaxation in order to maximise and sustain results.

Please advise prior to the first class if there are any injuries or conditions that affect participation. Please bring a towel and warm clothing for relaxation

Janine has been an accredited fitness instructor for nearly 30 years.  As a former  remedial therapist, she focuses on functional movement.  Janine has presented workshops around Australia, written articles for fitness magazines and presented at national fitness conventions.  Her passion is fostering self awareness in order to work weak muscles and relax tight movement patterns.
