Silverwork - Continuing

This continuing class revises the basic techniques of safety,tools and the correct use of.

Students will be encouraged to design and make more advanced styles of jewelery. Guidance will be provided to encourage students to think outside the square, to give a lot of thought to style and design balance, colour and practicality. New materials and techniques will be encouraged (including acrylics and found objects).

Books with stimulating ideas are available through the instructor. Students will be encouraged to use reference books from libraries and where to search for ideas on the Internet.
